DALLAS — Jax State's 4x100m relay unit of senior Jailah Loving, sophomore Amiyah Johnson, and freshmen Cheyenne Hill and Ella-Grace Edwards was named to the Third Team All-CUSA by the league office for its performance at the conference championship meet this past weekend at the Dean A. Hayes Track & Soccer Stadium.
The group earned a third-place finish in the 4x100m relay at the conference championship meet on Saturday evening, with a time of 45.06 seconds. The impressive performance resulted in a new school record that had previously stood for 15 years (45.10 seconds, 2011).
Just over two weeks ago, the unit earned a first-place finish at the Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt, with a time of 45.23 seconds.
The All-Conference honor was the lone one that Jax State managed to earn during the outdoor season.
