CUSA Releases 2026-27 Men's Basketball Conference Schedule

DALLAS – The 18-game lineup of the 2026-27 men's basketball conference schedule was released by the Conference USA office on Thursday afternoon.
Jax State will open the league slate with back-to-back home games, featuring a New Year's Eve matchup with Middle Tennessee on Dec. 31, followed by a Jan. 2 contest against Western Kentucky to open the new year.
After the short homestand, the Gamecocks will hit the road for three straight games, traveling to the defending CUSA champions at Kennesaw State (Jan. 9), then onto New Mexico State (Jan. 14) and Sam Houston (Jan. 16).
The Gamecocks are coming off a 15-17 (10-10) season that saw 10 total wins at Pete Mathews Coliseum, with six of those being conference victories.
Throughout the remainder of January, Jax State will take on Liberty (Jan. 21) and Delaware (Jan. 23) on its home floor before wrapping up the month with road trips to FIU (Jan. 28) and Missouri State (Jan. 30).
In February, Ray Harper's squad will play its first three games of the month at The Pete against Kennesaw State (Feb. 6), Sam Houston (Feb. 11) and New Mexico State (Feb. 13) before taking trips to Delaware (Feb. 18) and Liberty (Feb. 20).
For the remainder of the conference slate, the Gamecocks will host FIU (Feb. 25) and Missouri State (Feb. 27) for the final two home games and will wrap up the regular season with a pair of trips to Western Kentucky (March 4) and Middle Tennessee (March 6).
