Conference USA Announces 2027 Baseball Conference Slate

Conference USA moves to round-robin scheduling in 2027
DALLAS – Conference USA announced the 27-game conference slate for the 2027 baseball season on Wednesday afternoon.
Due to the league having 10 members, each team in the league will face each other during the regular season, as well as play five non-conference weekend series to start the year.
Jax State opens up the conference slate with a home series against the Liberty Flames, beginning Friday, March 26, and finishing on Sunday, March 28.
The first road series for the Gamecocks follows with a trip to Las Cruces, New Mexico, to face the Aggies from April 2 to April 4.
The Gamecocks return home to host the Sam Houston Bearkats from April 9 to 11 before taking on Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro the following week (April 16 – 18).
Missouri State comes to Jacksonville for the first time ever when the Bears and Gamecocks meet from April 23 – 25. From there, the Gamecocks will be on the road during the next two weeks, facing Kennesaw State from April 30 – May 2, followed by Western Kentucky from May 7 – 9.
The final home series of the year takes place from May 14 – 16, when Delaware comes down to Jacksonville. It will be the first meeting ever between the Gamecocks and the Blue Hens.
The regular season concludes with a Thursday through Saturday series down in Miami between Jax State and FIU from May 20 – 22.
The Conference USA Baseball Championship will be hosted by Sam Houston in Huntsville, Texas. The tournament begins on May 26 and concludes on May 30.
The full Jax State baseball schedule will be announced at a later date.
