2011: Appeared in eight games for the Gamecocks as a freshman…recorded eight tackles, all solo, and broke up a pair of passes…made his collegiate debut at Chattanooga on Sept. 10 and made three solo stops, a season-high…had two tackles at Murray State on Oct. 1…broke up a pass in the Murray State game and then again two weeks later at Austin Peay.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Shawn Peck at North Jackson High School…was named All-Region as a senior after helping team to a 13-1 record…finished season with 56 tackles, including 37 solo, and seven pass breakups…had three interceptions and returned two for touchdowns…added 241 yards on 10 kickoff returns, including a 89 yard return for a touchdown…owns the school record for most kickoff returns for touchdown with five …finished with a four-year career record of 45-8 and four straight trips to the playoffs…also lettered in track and field, where he was a state champion in 100m as a freshman with a time of 10.94, and was state runner-up both his sophomore and junior years.
