JSU CAREER:
2014: Appeared in 29 games for the Gamecocks as a junior, starting in left field 19 times and at DH three times…hit .294 with three doubles and 11 RBI on the year but was dominant against OVC pitchers, hitting .382 with three doubles and nine RBI…garnered OVC All-Newcomer Team honors…was perfect in the field for JSU…had three multi-hit games and four multi-RBI outings…drew 13 walks and struck out just four times in 51 at bats, giving her a .471 on base percentage…went 2-for-2 with a double and four RBI against Tennessee Tech on March 15.
 
PRIOR TO JSU: Played at Lake Land College under head coach Nic Nelson in Mattoon, Ill...named all-conference and all-region in 2013…also named to the 2013 Great Rivers Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team after helping the Mallards win GRAC Championships in 2012 and 2013.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Father Michael McGivney HS.
 
PERSONAL: Born on May 27, 1993, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada…the daughter of Rudolph and Dorret Steer…has two brothers, Andre and Phillip…is majoring in early childhood education at JSU.
