Biography
2013-14: Joined the women’s basketball program after being a member of the Gamecock Track and Field program for three seasons…became a valuable asset during Ohio Valley Conference play as she played in the final 16 games off the bench…lifted JSU to a home win over Tennessee State (1/20) with a season-high eight points off the bench in 13 minutes of playing time…also sparked Jax State in the quarterfinal match up with Tennessee Tech in the OVC Tournament with six points…pulled down three rebounds in two games versus Eastern Illinois (1/11) and in the TSU contest…played a season-high 15 minutes versus SIU Edwardsville (1/13)…on the track, she competed in the 200 meter and 400 meter runs during the outdoor portion of the track and field season…member of JSU’s 4x400 meter relay squad that won the Ohio Valley Conference crown in both indoor and outdoor in 2013. The quartet has won three consecutive OVC titles in the event…at the 2013 OVC Outdoor Championships, the relay team clocked the fastest time in the league with a time of 3:44.34…she ran the opening leg of the relay.
High School: Played at Athens High School in Athens, Ala. … played for head coach Eddie Murphree, who is the brother of Jax State assistant baseball coach, Mike Murphree…teammates with JSU junior Destany McLin at AHS…played in the 2009 AHSAA North-South All Star Basketball Game as a member of the North squad. Scored seven points in the summer event.
