2014: Played in all 22 games as junior and stared all but one match on JSU’s line of defense…credited with five shots on the season…collected two points throughout the campaign after notching assists against Austin Peay (10/17) and in Jax State’s upset of top-seeded Southeast Missouri in the Ohio Valley Conference semifinals…was named OVC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 21 after her solid effort at APSU…tabbed to the 2014 NSCAA/Adidas Scholar All-South Region Honorable Mention list and a member of the 2014-15 OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. 

2013: Saw action in 17 matches and in the starting line up in all of those contests…recorded an assist against Charleston Southern (9/1)…netted the game winner in the second extra time against Alabama State (9/20)…had multiple shot attempts twice – versus The Citadel (8/30) and against ASU…finished with ten total shots on the season…logged over 1,400 minutes on the pitch…named to the 2013-14 OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2012: Made an immediate impact on both ends of the pitch, playing in all 20 matches and starting 18 of those contests…helped lead JSU’s defense to six shut outs, while scoring a goal and posting three assists as a freshman…netted the final goal in the Gamecocks’ 5-0 win over in-state foe Alabama A&M (8/26)…two of her three dish outs came against Ohio Valley Conference competition – at Tennessee Tech (9/23) and versus SIU Edwardsville (9/30)…collected five points and four total shots…named to the 2012-13 OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Pre JSU: A dual threat player as a midfielder and defender…a 2012 Preseason All-Greater Houston First Team defender…earned First Team All-District 14-5A honors as a midfielder in 2012…tabbed to the 2012 TASCO Region II All-Region Team and an All-State selection… voted KHS’s Most Valuable Player…claimed the District 14-5A Defensive Player of the Year…named to the 2011 All-Greater Houston First Team defender as a junior in 2011…tabbed to the 2011 TASCO Region II All Region Team…earned the 2011 District 14-5A Most Valuable Defender of the Year…voted the 2011 KHS Defensive MVP…claimed 2010 District 18-5A All-District Team honors…played on the club circuit for the Eclipse SC, coached by Mac McCallum.

Personal: Born March 26, 1994…the daughter of Jody and Nancy Dowd…has four siblings: Mickey, Daniel, Jacob and Thomas…brother Daniel plays rugby at Louisiana State University…majoring in nursing.
