JSU CAREER:
2014: Appeared four games as a pitcher and nine as a pinch hitter for the Gamecocks as a true freshman…in the circle, went 2-0 with a 1.27 ERA in four relief appearances, striking out eight in 11 innings…held opposing hitters to a .154 average…made her collegiate debut against St. Bonaventure on Feb. 14 and struck out two in one scoreless inning of work…against Charleston Southern on Feb. 16, earned her first career win after holding CSU to one hit in five scoreless innings…at the plate, went 3-for-9 with an RBI…her RBI came on a bases loaded single against Belmont on April 26 that broke a scoreless tie in the sixth inning and lifted JSU to a 3-0 win.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Lemon Bay HS under head coaches Kim Pinkham and Sean Strictland…was named first team all-state as a senior and junior and second team all state as a sophomore…was named first team all-region as a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior while being named all-region player of the year twice…was also named all-district as a senior, junior, and sophomore…named team MVP for the Manta Rays her sophomore and senior seasons…helped the Manta Rays win two district championships.
 
PERSONAL: Born on July 9, 1995, in Sarasota, Fla. …the daughter of Shawn and Marcie Carvey…has one brother,  Austin…is majoring in biology at JSU.
