JSU CAREER: 2017: Played in all 12 of JSU’s games as a junior…finished with seven total stops, but 3.5 of them for a loss...collected a pair of tackles for a loss against Murray State (11/4), including a sack against the Racers…recovered a fumble versus UT Martin (11/11).
2016: Saw action in 11 games with starts coming during the season’s first four games…finished the season with 19 total tackles. 4.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks…credited with six quarterback hurries, including a season high three at Murray State on Nov. 12…set career high for tackles in a game with six against the Racers…totaled three tackles in a Top 25 Showdown against Coastal Carolina on Sept. 17 and on Oct. 15 against Austin Peay…finished with two tackles at LSU on Sept. 10…recorded at least one tackle in each of his four games started…had a tackle in the Gamecocks’ second-round playoff game against Youngstown State.
2015: Appeared in 13 games with one start at linebacker coming against Mississippi Valley State…had two unassisted tackles in his JSU debut at Chattanooga on Sept. 5…recorded a pair of three-tackle performances at UTC and UT Martin…finished the season with 13 tackles, two for losses…forced a fumble against Tennessee State and recovered a loose ball against Murray State…had two QB hurries as part of a JSU defense who’s 44 hurries were the second most in a single season.
PRIOR TO JSU: Sat out the 2014 season as a redshirt at UAB.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Coach Hal Riddle at Hewitt-Trussville High School in Trussville, Ala…as a senior in 2013, he recorded 76 tackles, nine of them for a loss…he led the team with three sacks and had three pass breakups.
