JSU CAREER:
2017: Started all 53 games for the Gamecocks as a junior … earned All-OVC honors for the second-straight year after batting .302 with seven doubles, three home runs, 24 runs batted in and stole 14 bases in 17 attempts … struck out only 15 times in 149 at bats … belted a walk-off home run against SIUE during the 2017 regular season on the same day a diving catch in left-center field won the second game … competed against USA Women’s National Softball Team as a member of the Alabama Stars … hit .289 in 16 OVC games … went a perfect 7 for 7 in stolen bases against conference foes … credited with eight two-hit, three three-hit games … went 3 for 3 with 4 RBI against Houston Baptist on Feb 12 … had a 3-for-4 game with 2 RBI against Kennesaw State on March 18 … finished 3 for 5 at UAB on April 4. 

2016: Appeared in 60 games for the Gamecocks as a sophomore and was in the starting lineup 59 times…earned First Team All-OVC honors…batted .331 with seven doubles, one triple, five home runs and drove in 29 runs…swiped eight bases in 10 attempts…led the team with a .446 batting average in OVC games…had a .800 batting average with a runner on third base and less than two outs…hit .372 with two outs…recorded 12 multi-hit and six multi-RBI games.

2015: Appeared in and started in all 55 games for the Gamecocks as a true freshman…earned OVC All-Newcomer honors…batted .317 with eight doubles, four home runs and 29 RBI… recorded a three-double, four-RBI performance in her collegiate debut against IPFW…had 15 multi-hit games, 8 games with three-or-more hits and eight multi-RBI games…hit .348 with runners on base, .348 with runners in scoring position, .632 with runners on third with less than two outs, .396 with two outs and .527 successfully advancing runner percentage…record 13 2-out RBI…hit .364 during the OVC Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played five seasons for her father Paul Woodruff at Albertville High School in Albertville, Ala…a four-time first team all-state performer for the Aggies, claiming the honor as a DH as a freshman, shortstop as a sophomore and an outfielder in her last two years…a five-time all-area and all-county MVP and a MaxPreps All-American in 2013…in her AHS career, hit .456 with 34 home runs from the leadoff position…she is second all-time in runs scored in the AHSAA with 329, fifth in hits (379), fourth in doubles (91) and fifth in stolen bases…named the Huntsville Times All-Metro Hitter of the year in 2013 and 2014…led the Aggies to three AHSAA State Championship appearances, five area titles and five county championships.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Emily Ann Woodruff…born on Dec. 3, 1995, in Augusta, Ga…the daughter of Paul and Kathy Woodruff…has an older sister, Hannah, and a twin brother, Ty…sister Hannah played softball at Alabama-Huntsville…majoring in nursing at JSU.
