Biography
JSU CAREER:
2018-19: Played in all 30 games as a freshman for JSU…made her collegiate debut in the season-opener at Florida A&M on Nov. 6...hit her first career three-pointer at Lipscomb on Nov. 17 to finish with a then-season-high five points...had a key steal and two-point jumper in a second-half momentum swing in the road win at Ole Miss on Dec. 2...had a breakout game against Eastern Illinois on Jan. 10, posting a career-high 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting...collected six rebounds twice at Morehead State and at Tennessee State…was the eighth Gamecocks to reach triple figures scoring, finished her rookie campaign with 101 points, 45 rebounds, 24 assists and 15 steals.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Prepped under head coach John Gibson at The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn…the 2017 Best of Preps Tournament MVP led the Red Raiders to four Best of Prep tournament titles…named first team all-state as a senior…made the Tennessee-Georgia High School All-Star Game…also competed in track and field where she won state championships in the triple jump and 4x200 relay.
PERSONAL:
Born September 12, 2000, in Chattanooga, Tenn…the daughter of Tyronza Ryals and Jumocka Willis Sr… has one younger brother, Jumocka Jr…her aunt Cathy Ryals competed in track and field at Middle Tennessee…favorite colors are purple and turquoise…lists rap as her favorite music genre.
