JSU CAREER:
2017-18: Saw action in 23 games in her first season with the Red and White, making eight starts…she made her JSU debut on Nov. 10 in the season-opener against Brewton-Parker leading the Gamecock scoring with 14 points...usually reserve off the bench, Perry provided depth between rotating point guards…she came off the bench for 10 minutes of action at Belmont on Jan. 4 going 3-of-5 for six points...later reached double figures for the first time against a Division I opponent against Murray State on Jan. 11, finishing 4-for-4 for 11 points...she sparingly appeared in 41 minutes of action throughout the regular-season conference slate, but played 39 pivotal minutes in JSU’s two OVC tournament contests in March…finished the season with 77 points and two assists as the Gamecocks set the school’s Division I record for conference wins in a season at 12, and tied the overall Div. I mark with 19 wins.
PRIOR TO JSU:
2015-2017: An honorable mention selectee during her first year at Jacksonville (Texas) College before being a first-team all-conference honoree last season…averaged 13 points, four assists, three steals and two rebounds a game over the course of her playing career as a Jaguar … recorded a 19-point, 10-rebound, 8-assist game against Bossier Parish (La.) Community College on Feb. 23, 2017.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped under Dawayne Creggett at Wilmer Hutchins High…selected to the all-region first team as a junior and senior…averaged 10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists over the course of her prep career...chosen as her team’s MVP as a junior and senior…also participated in volleyball and track.
PERSONAL: Born June 20, 1997 in Dallas, Texas…daughter of Quintilla and Brian Perry, Sr…has a younger brother, Brian Perry Jr.
