JSU CAREER
2019-20: Appeared in 26 games after a head injury forced her to miss four contests…wearing a protective mask for much of the year, she still continued her trend as a sharp-shooter from the outside…on Feb. 8, she etched her name in the record books coming off the bench for 32 points at UT Martin, the most by a Gamecock in 17 years…she notched single-game best 12 field goals and seven treys in the UTM game…she finished with the fourth most points on the team with 210 to go along with 36 rebounds, 14 steals and 11 assists.
2018-19: Appeared in all 30 games as a true freshman, earning 14 starts…had a breakout game on Nov. 27 with a career-high 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting and six three-pointers…made her first career start the following game at Ole Miss on Dec. 2 where she recorded 15 points, two boards, a steal, block and assist in JSU’s road upset…named Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week on Dec. 4…her 245 points were fourth-most on the team and her 36 treys ranked second highest…finished her first year with 15 steals, 12 assists and 12 boards.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Finished her prep career at White Knoll High School after spending a year at Gray Collegiate Academy following her first two years at Saluda High…named second team all-state honors each of her first three seasons before earning first team status as a senior…averaged 25 points and 11 rebounds per game…also played volleyball and soccer where she was named all-region…played club basketball for Carolina United along with fellow JSU freshman Regan Dargan
PERSONAL:
Born February 28, 2000, in Greenwood, S.C…the daughter of Sonya Johnson and Carl Palmore…has two brothers, Devin and Bias, and sister, Sanaa…enjoys the Netflix series “Last Chance U” and loves hibachi and Mexican cuisine.
