Biography

JSU CAREER
2019-20: 
Started 23 of the 30 games she appeared in as a redshirt-junior…set career highs with 12 points against Florida A&M on Nov. 9 and 17 rebounds at Tennessee State on Feb. 27…her 153 rebounds were the third-most on the squad…she averaged 26 minutes and started every conference game, including grabbing 10 voards in JSU’s home upset of Belmont on Feb. 1…she helped JSU earn the fifth seed for the OVC Tournament and finished the year with 153 rebounds, 124 points, 24 assists and 23 steals. 

2018-19: Played in 29 of JSU’s 30 games, making four starts against Lipscomb, Washington State, Montevallo and UT Martin…made her JSU debut in the season-opener in her home state at Florida A&M on Nov.6, then had two three-pointers in the following game at Texas Tech on Nov. 9...set a career-high with nine points against her former school Troy on Dec. 29, knocking down a career-best five free-throws..also set a personal best with six rebounds against Eastern Illinois (1/10) and UT Martin (2/7)…finished her first season as a Gamecock with 85 points, 78 boards and 18 steals.  

2017-18: Sat out the season after transferring to JSU.

PRIOR TO JSU
2016-2017: (Troy) Appeared in 18 games for a total of 69 minutes at Troy University last year…finished the season with 19 points, 19 total rebounds, five steals and two assists…made her collegiate debut in the Trojans’ season-opener at Auburn on Nov. 11…helped lead Troy to a Sun Belt Tournament Championship…had three rebounds in two minutes of game action against Mississippi State in the NCAA Women’s Division I Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped under her dad, David, at Niceville High…three-time Northwest Florida Daily News first-team selection…a two-time second-team all-state honoree…helped lead to a 20-10 record and a Final Four appearance during her senior season when she averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds…scored more than 1,500 points during her prep career…recorded a 24-rebound game and 11-assist game…nominated for the 2016 McDonald’s All-American Game.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 2, 1997 in Rockhill, South Carolina … daughter of Becky and David Day … has two older sisters, Emily and Lauren Day … Lauren concluded a four-year basketball career at Troy University last season.
