JSU CAREER: Fall 2020/Spring 2021: Made nine starts in the 12 games played in his first full year with JSU... recorded 21 tackles on the year including seven solo stops, three tackles for a loss of 19 yards, and 1.5 sacks... his first career sack came against Tennessee State on March 7 for a 9-yard loss... also finished the year with four quarterback hurries.

2019: Made back-to-back appearances against Austin Peay and Tennessee State before receiving a redshirt...made his first solo tackle against Austin Peay.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach James Thompson at Carver High School in Montgomery., Ala…led the Wolverines to an 8-3 record and a berth in the 2018 AHSAA Class 6A Playoffs…was a first team all-region selection in 2019…led a CHS defense that recorded two shutouts in 2018 and held its foes under 10 points five times…held opposing teams to just over 12 points per game…was named the Montgomery Advertiser’s Player of the Week on one occasion.
 
PERSONAL: Born May 8, 2001 in Montgomery, Ala…son of Leighton and Tynamie Gordon…has two brothers - Jereme and Akareyon, and a sister - Sarah…brother, Jereme, signed to play football at Kansas University…majoring in criminal justice at JSU.
