Biography

JSU CAREER
2019-20: 
Made two starts in her 27 appearances as a junior…recorded two double-digit scoring games including a then-career best 12 points on her birthday against Northern Kentucky in Miami, Fla., on Nov. 29…later increased that personal mark to 13 points versus Clark-Atlanta on Dec. 8…averaged 11.5 minutes as she helped JSU return to the OVC Tournament for the third-straight year…finished the season with 70 points, 35 rebounds, 15 assists and seven blocks. 

2018-19: Started the final 10 games and made 28 appearances overall for JSU as a sophomore…scored a new career-high 11 points at Lipscomb on Nov. 17 and matched that mark against Austin Peay on Feb. 2…hauled in a career-best six boards at Florida A&M in the season opener…averaging just 2.2 points per game before conference play, her PPG rose to 4.9 during league play for the fourth-best best mark on a balanced squad…helped guide JSU back to the OVC Tournament for the second-straight season with a trip to Evansville, Ind.

2017-18: Appeared in 18 of JSU’s 31 games as a true freshman… made her collegiate debut in the season-opener against Brewton-Parker scoring two points... later hit her first three-pointer against No. 18 Florida State on Nov. 12 and another against Seton Hall on Nov. 26...registered a 16 minutes of action against Alabama A&M on Dec. 12 where she had three points, four rebounds and two steals…had just four points in nine regular-season conference games, before setting a season-high with back-to-back seven-point contests in JSU’s two OVC tournament games in March…finished the year with 35 points and 28 rebounds.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Prepped under Patrick Delay at Sparkman High in Huntsville, Ala…averaged 10.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists as a junior for the Senators…an Alabama-Georgia All-Star …averaged 10 points, 2.5 rebounds, two assists and two steals …an all-area and all-region selection as both a junior and senior.

PERSONAL:
Born November 29, 1998 in Birmingham, Ala…daughter of Jennifer and James Walker…has an older brother, Jonathan, who participated in basketball and indoor track and field at Auburn University…father was world-class hurdler and track star at Auburn where he was the 1978 and 1979 NCAA champion in the 400m hurdles, also the 1979 SEC Track Athlete of the Year, won Gold at the Pan-American Games and qualified for the 1980 Olympics prior to the U.S. boycott.
