HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for head coach Mike Robertson at Hokes Bluff High School in Hokes Bluff, Ala…a four-time all-state player for the Eagles, grabbing first-team honors in his freshman, sophomore and junior years before earning second-team honors as a senior…despite dealing with turf toe his entire senior season, ran for 1,540 yards on 232 carries for an average of 6.6 yards per carry…scored 17 rushing touchdowns as a senior…led the Eagles to four consecutive AHSAA Class 4A playoff appearances and wrapped up his career with 8,049 rushing yards and 100 touchdowns…was the Gadsden Times Player of the Year in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and was the first-team running back on The All-Gadsden Times Team four times…was selected to play in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game…as a junior in 2018, ran for 2,634 yards and 36 touchdowns after racking up 2,036 yards and 28 scores as a sophomore…his freshman year saw him run for 1,839 yards.
