JAX STATE CAREER:
2024: Earned First-Team All-CUSA honors after starting all 15 games at left tackle...Recorded 972 snaps at left tackle according to Pro Football Focus with a 78.7 overall grade...Graded out at 83.7 in win at Liberty (10/30)...Also had 80+ grades in wins at Kennesaw State (10/4), and Sam Houston (11/23)...Helped the Gamecocks rank third nationally in rushing offense in FBS at 251.2 yards per game.
2023: An Honorable Mention All-CUSA selection on the offensive line … also a member of the Conference USA All-Academic Football Team in 2023, already holding his undergraduate degree in Biology and working on his Master’s in Biology … started every game at left tackle for an offensive line that led the Gamecocks to fifth-best rushing offense in FBS through the regular season … helped pave the way for an offense that is averaging 232.2 yards per game on the ground and has run for at least 140 in every game but one in 2023, including seven games with more than 200 yards and a CUSA-record 522 rushing yards against LA Tech.
2022: Started all 11 games at left tackle for the Gamecocks…helped lead the Jax State offense lead the ASUN in rushing offense with 251.0 rushing yards per game…the Gamecocks also lead the league in points per game with 36.2 points per outing…Jax State posted a conference-best red zone scoring percentage of 89 percent, including a touchdown rate of 69 percent.
2021: Did not see action as a true freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for head coach Chandler Tyree at White Plains High School in Anniston, Ala…a four-year starter and a two-way lineman for the Wildcats, was a second-team all-state selection by the Alabama Sports Writers Association as a senior…named first team all-county by the Anniston Star…247Sports.com rated him as a two-star prospect at defensive line…named to the Pigskin Roundup All-Star Team…invited to participate in the 2020 Offense-Defense All-American Bowl…a three-time all-region performer and a two-time all-district player…was the Wildcats’ Team Most Valuable Player as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born on Nov. 23, 2001, in Anniston, Ala…the son of Hank and Wendy O’Steen…has a younger brother – Walker…majoring in biology at JSU.
