Biography
JAX STATE CAREER:
2023: Appeared in every game for the Gamecocks, serving as the team’s snapper on field goals and PAT tries.
2022: Saw action in all 11 games on special teams as the long snapper.
2021: Played in all 11 games as JSU’s primary long snapper for field goals, PATs and punts.
FALL 2020/SPRING 2021: Served as the team’s long snapper in all 13 games of the 20-21 season, successfully snapping on JSU’s 56 punts, 19 field goal tries and 47 PAT attempts.
PRIOR TO JAX STATE: Redshirted the 2019 season at Northern Illinois in DeKalb, Ill.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-year letter winner at Homestead High School in Mequon, Ill…played in all 14 games a senior…team won the state title with an undefeated record his senior year….a nationally-ranked long snapper with 4.5 stars…also played on the offensive line…made the Honor Roll as a junior and senior and was an honors graduate.
PERSONAL: Born June 19, 2000, in Milwaukee, Wis…the son of Molly Megan and Robert Peterson…his brother Graydon was a four-year letterwinner in football at Dartmouth College…plans to major in nursing.
