2009:
Played in 33 of the Gamecocks’ 35 matches and 129 of their 137 games as a junior…was a First Team All-OVC selection…was second on the team and 10th in the OVC in kills per game with 2.91, while her 376 total kills ranked fifth in the league…hit .231 on the year, while also recording 74 blocks and 106 digs…her 38 service aces ranked third on the team and fourth in the OVC…was eighth in the OVC in points per game with 3.52…was named the MVP of the OVC Tournament after knocking down 25 kills on a .309 attack percentage, including 11 kills in the championship match…recorded double digits in kills 22 times, including 10 of her last 11 matches…had a season-high 18 kills twice, the last coming on a .448 attack percentage against Tennessee Tech on Oct. 30…knocked down 11 kills on a .304 attack percentage in the second round of the NCAA Tournament vs. Florida State…had four service aces on Oct. 10 at Eastern Illinois.

2008:
Saw action in all 107 of the Gamecocks’ games as a sophomore…was second on the team and in the OVC with 390 kills, while her 3.64 kills per game ranked third in the league…was seventh in the OVC with 27, while finishing second in the league with 4.21 points per game…averaged 3.82 kills per game in league play, the third-highest mark in the conference…also picked up 185 digs and 45 blocks…was named the league’s Player of the Week on Nov. 10 after averaging 5.0 kills per game in a pair of road wins over Eastern Illinois and SE Missouri…knocked down a season-high 22 kills vs. Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 31, one of three 20-kill performances in 2008…recorded double-digit kills in all but four matches and had four double-doubles…picked up a season-high 14 digs at IUPUI on Aug. 31.

2007:
Appeared in all 28 matches for the Gamecocks as a true freshman and saw action in 101 of their 107 games…finished the season fourth on the team in kills with 214, an average of 2.12 per game…was also fourth on the squad in blocks with 47, 0.47 per game…finished the season third on the team in service aces after knocking down 28, while picking up 89 digs, sixth-most on the squad…had 159 kills, 2.30 per game, in Ohio Valley Conference play…recorded 10 or more kills in a match 11 times, including a season-high 16 against Albany on Sept. 9…had a streak of four-straight matches with double-digit kills from Sept. 29 to Oct. 9…picked up a season-high seven digs against Albany.

Prep: Played four seasons at Archbishop O’Hara High School in Kansas City, Mo…was named a PrepVolleyball.com All-American after totaling 77 kills and averaging 6.03 kills per game as a senior…recorded over 1,200 kills in her career with the Celtics…was a first team all-state honoree after each her junior and senior seasons…earned first team all-district and all-region accolades in each her sophomore, junior and senior seasons…as a junior, led the Celtics to a 31-5-5 record and the Missouri Class 3 State Championship, while picking up state tournament MVP honors along the way…also helped guide her team to the state title as a freshman, as well as a third-place finish in her sophomore season…earned First Team All-Metro honors from the Kansas City Star as a junior before being named to the second team as a senior…participated in the Missouri-Kansas All-Star game in 2006, when she also received the Senior Ace Award...played club volleyball with JSU teammate Jennifer Williams with the KC Power Volleyball Club and helped guide the power to a fifth-place finish at Open Nationals in 2005.

Personal: Born on March 10, 1989, in Kansas City, Mo…the daughter of Lori and David Vorbeck…the youngest of six kids, has three brothers, Collin, Brandon and Kevin, and two sisters, Erin and Megan…an honor student at Archbishop O’Hara HS…plans to major in nursing at JSU.
