Prior to Jax State: Spent two seasons at Parkland College…as a sophomore in 2023, In 2023, Pipes improved to a 7-2 record in 13 appearances and 10 starts, culminating in 54.0 innings in which 32 runs were conceded, 29 earned, and 36 walks while striking out 77 batters with an ERA of 4.83…recorded a complete game in 2023 and notched a save…finished his freshman year on the NJCAA All-Academic Third Team and his sophomore year NJCAA DII All-Region 24 Team, MWAC First Team All-Conference, and MWAC Pitcher of the Year… appeared in eight games, posting a 1-0 record across 10.1 innings for a 4.35 ERA, conceding seven runs, five earned, and 11 walks on 10 strikeouts as a freshman.
