JSU CAREER
2022-23: 
Played in 28 games for Jax State and logged 16 starts…finished fourth on the team with 8.0 points and 24.0 minutes per game…had a team-best 49 made threes on 32.5% shooting…shot 29.2% from the field and 68.0% from the free throw line…third on the squad with 36 assists and fifth with 19 steals…averaged 2.7 rebounds per game…tied a career-high of 24 points and nine field goals in a win over Samford on Nov. 30…grabbed a career-best seven rebounds at Georgia on Nov. 13…had four assists at Kennesaw State on Jan. 19 and three steals versus Central Arkansas on Jan. 26, both of which tied career highs…rounded out her college career with a 20-point performance against Kennesaw State in the ASUN Tournament on March 4.

2021-22: Started in all 32 games during her second season with the Gamecocks...led JSU with 10.6 points per game and played a team-high 26.7 minutes per game...led JSU's three-point shooting efforts with 64 made three-pointers at 30.0 percent for an average of 2.0 per game...finished as one of the top-five three-point shooters in the ASUN...tied her career-high with six three-pointers against Bellarmine on Jan. 5, and scored a career-high 22 points...made more than three three's in six games...averaged 2.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game...shot 71.7 percent from the charity stripe and 32.0 percent from the floor...recorded a season-high six rebounds twice...scored in double-figures 18 times.

2020-21: Played in all 24 games during her first season with the Gamecocks…Scored 195 points averaging 8.1 points per game…Shot 39.4 percent from beyond-the-arc on 44-of-131 shooting…Finished 23-of-31 from the free-throw line for 74.2 percent…Totaled 29 rebounds and 19 assists on the year…Registered 17 steals…Totaled a season-high three steals on the road against Tennessee Tech…Drained a season-high six three-pointers against Eastern Kentucky and SIUE shooting 60 percent from downtown in each contest…Scored a career-high 24 points against Eastern Kentucky and scored double-figures 10 times.

PRIOR TO JSU:

WALLACE STATE CC: Martin comes highly decorated to the Red and White as a First Team NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) All-American…the first WSCC Lady Lion to score 1,000 career points in 14 years, also became the Lions' only First Team All-American selection. Leading the ACCC (Alabama Community College Conference) with a 21.8 scoring average for 2019-20, Martin was named the ACCC/Region 22 Player of the Year in addition to earning recognition as the ACCC North Division Player of the Year, an ACCC North Division First Team member and an ACCC All-Tournament team member…she led the conference with 147 assists and connected on 81 three-pointers.

HIGH SCHOOL:

Before scoring 1,082 points in her two seasons with the Lady Lions, Martin prepped at Hazel Green High outside of Huntsville, where recent Gamecock standouts Chloe Long and Rayven Pearson once played. She hit the winning free throws in overtime to lead the Lady Trojans to the 2018 AHSAA 6A State championship over Ramsay.

PERSONAL:

Born April 5, 2000…the daughter of Chondra Martin…has one older brother, Jalen, and older sister, Tyra…her uncle Darian Stewart played football at South Carolina and went on to the NFL where he won  Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos and later named to the Pro Bowl in 2017…favorite athlete is Lebron James…plans to major in Forensic Investigation at JSU.
