2009 OUTLOOK: Has worked really hard with his bat and defensive skills to play at first base… one of the hardest working players on the team…brings a big bat to the plate and adds power to the lineup…has worked extremely hard at being more consistent at the plate…ball gets off his bat as anybody on the team…brings a consistent attitude and great character to the park every day.

(2008) As a junior, played in 14 games with four starts…finished the season with a .158 batting average in just 19 at-bats…drew three walks…went 1-for-3 vs Millsaps (2/27)…was 1-for-1 vs at UAB (4/22)…

 (2007) As a sophomore, played in 36 games and earned 21 starts, including eight at first base and 13 as the DH…finished the season with a .347 batting average with 17 RBI and one home run…went 1-for-3 in his first start of the season on 2/25 at Texas A&M…was 2-for-5 with two RBI and a pair of doubles against Northwestern State on 3/10…finished with a career-best 3-for-3 on 4/6 at Southeast Missouri State…drove in a season-best three runs on 4/11 against Georgia State with a home run…had his best OVC series against Southeast Missouri State, where he went 4-for-7 (.571) in three games…batted .273 (3-11) as a pinch hitter…was fourth on the squad with a .345 batting average (10-29) with runners in scoring position…finished with six multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI games…had a season-long hitting streak of six games.

(2006) As a true freshman in 2006, played in 18 games with 11 starts…finished the season with a .200 batting average and a pair of home runs…made his collegiate debut at Southeastern Louisiana on 2/19…went 2-for-5 with two RBI vs SEMO on 4/19…finished 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI the next game vs UAB…drove in a season-high four RBI at Kennesaw State on 5/17…had three multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Will Smith and Casey Dunn at Spain Park High School for four years…named team captain as a senior and was named first-team All-State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association…holds the school record for career home runs and RBI…set the Spain Park record for most RBI in a single-season…high school teammate with JSU player Alex Jones.
