JSU CAREER:
2009: Started all 11 games at right tackle for the Gamecocks as a sophomore...was named an All-American for the Gamecocks during the 2009 season…played 480 snaps, which was second on the team, and graded out at 66 percent…led the Gamecock offensive linemen with 88 knockdowns, while his six pancake blocks were third…led an offensive line that was crucial in leading the JSU offense to the top of the OVC rankings in total offense and rushing offense.

2008: Played in four games as a reserve offensive lineman… played 143 snaps, grading 73 percent on pass plays and totaled 25 knockdowns on the season…registered 10 knockdowns against Alabama A&M (9/6)…graded a season-best 67 percent versus Southeast Missouri (10/4).

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Tim Daniels at Red Bank High School as a junior and senior, and helped the Lions to a 24-2 record…played two years at Lakeview High School in Ft. Oglethorpe…was a three-year starter…was named Class 4A All-State as a senior after recording 36 pancake blocks and 63 knockdowns…was team captain in 2007…was selected to play in the East-West Tennessee All-Star game…was named All-Region Lineman of the Year as a senior and also selected to the 4A Dream Team…was an All-Region selection as a junior and named to the Best of the Preps in 2006…was an honor student.

PERSONAL: Full name is Tylor Lynn Chambers…born on August 2, 1989…son of Terry and Martha Chambers…has one older brother, PVT Ira Chambers, and a twin brother, Taylor that also plays football for JSU…majoring in Physical Therapy.
