HIGH SCHOOL: Played his senior season for head coach Eoghan Cullen at Forest High School in Ocala, Fla…was named the Ocala Gazette’s Defensive Player of the Year as a senior after recording 89 tackles, 36 tackles for a loss, 22 sacks, 24 quarterback hurries, 10 forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries…his 22 sacks were ninth-most in the nation and third in the state of Florida…a finalist for the Scot Brantley Trophy, given annually to the best player in North Central Florida…a first-team All-District performer for FACA District 7, as well as named to the FACA Senior All-Star Team…also a standout on the FHS basketball team, averaging a double-double…chose the Gamecocks over several offers that included South Florida, Kent State, and Northern Iowa.
