HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Erwin High School for Willie Miller…was a four-year letterman…helped the Eagles to a 6-4 record his senior season as team averaged 28.1 points per game…team posted a 7-4 record in 2007 and advanced to the state playoffs, dropping a 35-13 decision to Russellville in the first round of the playoffs…team set the single-game school record by beating Hayden 61-6 and also the margin of victory record with the 55 point win.

PERSONAL: Full name is Jordan Alan Smith…son of Robert and Shelia Smith…has one older brother, Julian, and one older sister, Kamala…his brother, Julian, played at UAB from 2005-07…his father attended Alabama A&M University and was the roommate of John Stallworth, who went on to win four Super Bowls and is in the NFL Hall of Fame…majoring in Communications at JSU.
