JSU CAREER
2013-14: Appeared in 30 of the Gamecocks’ 31 games as a junior, getting the start in 23 of them…averaged 8.3 points per game in his first season at JSU, while also grabbing 4.9 rebounds per game, second on the team…tied for third on the team with 10 blocked shots…shot 53 percent from the floor, good enough to lead the team and rank 11th in the Ohio Valley Conference…was a 74 percent free throw shooter…scored in double figures 11 times, including a season-high 17 points vs. Tennessee State on Jan. 16…had a double-double at Auburn on Nov. 19 with 16 points and 12 rebounds, one of two double-digit rebounding games of the year…in the TSU game, was 8-for-13 from the floor…went 6-for-7 (.857) from the floor in a 14-point performance vs. SIUE on Jan. 9…pulled in 10 boards at Illinois on Nov. 10…scored 10 points in his JSU debut at Bradley on Nov. 8.

PRIOR TO JSU
Played his freshman season at St. Johns River State College in Palatka, Fla., for head coach Buster Harvey before playing his sophomore season at East Georgia State College in Swainsboro, Ga., for Neil Bailey…as a sophomore, led EGSC to the State Title after posting a 31-3 record and a 19-1 mark in GCAA play…Averaged 14 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, while shooting 47 percent from the floor in his sophomore season…had 11 double-digit rebound games and scored 10 or more points in 27 of his 33 games…as a freshman at SJR, averaged 11.8 points and 8.2 rebounds while shooting 48 percent from the floor.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played two seasons at Bradwell High School in Hinesville, Ga., before transferring to First Presbyterian Christian Academy for his final two seasons…led the Highlanders to back-to-back state titles as a junior and senior…was named the WIOC Player of the Week.

Full name is Da-Vanon Ray Felder, Jr…born on June 20, 1991, in Topeka, Kan…the son of Marcey Felder…has a younger brother, Davaughn, and a younger sister, Abravion...majoring in liberal studies at JSU.
