Played in 31 of the Gamecocks’ 33 games as a junior, starting 16 of them…averaged 5.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game…in league play, scored 4.3 points and pulled in 1.9 boards per contest…started his career with a bang, scoring 17 points and grabbing six rebounds in his collegiate debut, a win over Miles College…in that debut, went 4-for-7 from the floor and 9-for-9 from the free throw line, while also dishing four assists and swiping three steals…scored 16 points in his third game, a loss at Cincinnati…tied his season-high 17 points on Nov. 28 vs. San Francisco State, when he went 6-for-7 from the floor and 5-for-6 from the stripe and pulled in six rebounds…scored 12 points at Murray State on Jan. 12…capped the season with 11 points against Morehead State in the quarterfinals of the OVC Tournament…dished a season-high six assists at SIUE on Dec. 31.

PRIOR TO JSU
Played two seasons for head coach Terry Carroll at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa…was a third-team all-district selection as a sophomore, when he averaged 7.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.8 assists per game…saw action as a reserve for the Blackhawks as a freshman, scoring 3.8 points and grabbing 1.4 boards per game…averaged 1.4 assists per contest in his debut season at SCC and helped lead his team to a 31-10 record…helped lead the Blackhawks to two district and two region titles…played alongside current JSU teammate Rinaldo Mafra.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped for head coach Martin Poche at Zachary High School in Zachary, La…was a first team all-district performer as a junior and senior after earning second-team honors as a sophomore…in his senior season, averaged 14 points, six rebounds and four assists per game and led the Broncos to a 27-10 record…in his final three seasons at ZHS, guided the Broncos to a combined 66-28 record…also lettered in track at ZHS and was a first team all-district performer as a senior.

PERSONAL
Born on Dec. 13, 1990…the son of Michael and Melodie Leggett…has an older brother, Michael…his father Michael ran track at Jackson State University…is majoring in physical education at JSU.
