JAX STATE CAREER
2024: Appeared in 16 games with 10 starts during her junior campaign…set a new career low with a team-best 2.87 ERA, allowing just 22 earned runs in 53.2 innings…Struck out 42 batters while allowing just 10 walks to opposing hitters…tossed three complete games, highlighted by a 7.0 inning, 10 strikeout shutout performance against Alabama State on April 3…also struck out nine batters in a complete game victory over Samford on Feb. 23.

2023: Appeared in 19 games as a sophomore making 12 starts…pitched 69.2 innings with an ERA of 3.11 and 49 strikeouts for an 8-5…tossed six complete games and three shutouts, including a monster performance at Austin Peay on May 6 to lock up the No. 3 seed for the Gamecocks in the ASUN Tournament…also added one save…in ASUN play her ERA dropped to 2.81 in seven starts.  

2022: Served as one of the team’s top pitchers in her freshman year with the Gamecocks, starting in 20 of her 30 appearances…was named to the ASUN’s All-Freshman Team at season’s end...had a 13-10 record with a team-leading 2.96 ERA in 135 innings pitched with her first career win coming against Alcorn State on March 4…tossed three shutouts and went the distance in 12 of her 20 starts...struck out 88 batters and held opposing hitters to a team-low .243 batting average.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played for head coach Mike Cason at Mountain View High School in Lawrenceville, Ga…a two-time First Team All-State selection for the Bears, earning the honor in both her junior and senior seasons…a finalist for the Atlanta Softball Player of the Year by USA Today in 2020, when she was also a Super Six selection by the Gwinnett Daily Post…led MVHS to the 2019 GHSA state title in 2019 and a region title in 2020…was also named her Team MVP and All-Region in her junior and senior seasons, while grabbing all-county honors in her last three seasons…played in the GHSA Senior All-Star Game…in her senior season, went 20-5 with a 1.08 ERA and 178 strikeouts, while limiting opposing batters to a .182 average…at the plate, hit .344 with 11 home runs, 34 RBI, a .456 on-base percentage and a .753 slugging percentage…in her junior season, went 18-4 in the circle with a 1.57 ERA and 154 strikeouts…carried a 0.72 ERA into the Elite Eight round of the GHSA Playoffs…also hit .359 in her junior season…struck out 511 batters over her MVHS career.

PERSONAL
Born on June 10, 2003, in Decatur, Ga…the daughter of Jim and Kris Currie…has two brothers, Jackson and Nolan…a four-year recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award…majoring in nursing at JSU.
