JAX STATE CAREER
2022-23: Appeared in 19 matches in his first season of collegiate tennis…finished second on the team with nine singles victories and tied for fifth with six doubles triumphs…went 9-7 in singles action, primarily competing in the No. 2 and 3 spots for Jax State…tied for the team’s lead with fellow Romanian Matei Palcau for singles wins at both of those positions…was a perfect 4-0 in No. 3 singles matchups…4-3 in singles play against ASUN opponents…was 6-6 in doubles play as a freshman, typically competing in the No. 2 spot…second on the team with five victories at the No. 2 doubles position…was 5-4 overall and 4-3 in conference play alongside Konstantin Benneman in the second flight.

Consistently competed as one of the top juniors athletes in his native Romania…achieved an ITF World Ranking of 246 on Jan. 4, 2021…earned a 12.01 Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) and was the No. 6 ranked U18 player in Romania…part of a heralded 2022 recruiting class for Jacksonville State that was ranked 30th nationally and 7th among mid-majors according to the Tennis Recruiting Network.
