Biography

JAX STATE CAREER:
2024:
Played in eight games with two starts...Had 127 yards on 35 carries with two scores...Totaled 113 all-purpose yards in Homecoming victory over Southern Miss (9/21) with 13 carries for 65 yards and two touchdowns with a catch for 48 yards...Had nine carries for 27 yards in season opener against Coastal Carolina (8/29)...Rushed six times for 14 yards at Louisville (9/7)...Added five carries for 17 yards in win over Kennesaw State (10/4). 

2023: Played in the final eight games of the season after recovering from an offseason injury … carried the ball 93 times for 452 yards and three touchdowns … also caught 11 passes for 96 yards … made his season debut against Sam Houston and got stronger as the season progressed … ran for over 80 yards in back-to-back weeks against Liberty and Western Kentucky, finding the end zone for the first time in the WKU game … rolled up 122 yards and a score on 14 carries against LA Tech, including a season-long 40-yard run … had 41 yards on eight attempts against New Mexico State with a long of 12 yards.

2022: Lewis became an instant offensive threat in Rich Rodriguez’s debut offense appearing in all 11 games and making four starts in the backfield…led the Gamecocks in rushing with 818 yards on 115 carries and found the endzone eight times…also caught 13 passes for 127 yards and an additional score…rushed for more than 100 yards in four games, including his Jax State debut versus Stephen F. Austin on Aug. 27…ran for a season-high 182 yards and three touchdowns at Murray State on Sept. 10…his lone touchdown reception came in the finale at Central Arkansas on Nov. 19 with a 25-yard scoring strike from Zion Webb to help the Gamecocks win the ASUN Conference championship with an undefeated league record…led all Gamecocks with 945 all-purpose yards (85.9 YPG) and his nine touchdowns finished third on the team in scoring.

PRIOR TO JAX STATE:  Played for head coach Drew Dallas at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas, where he was named the 2021 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Offensive Player of the Year in leading the Blue Dragons to a 9-2 record, the KJCCC Title and a win in the Salt City Bowl…led the KJCCC in carries with 187, rushing yards with 1,052 and rushing touchdowns with 11…had a stretch of four consecutive weeks where he ran for 210 yards, 147 yards, 123 yards and 174 yards…in the KJCCC Championship Game against Garden City, ran for 72 yards and three touchdowns…had at least one touchdown in eight games…as a freshman in 2020, he was second on the team with 524 yards and seven rushing touchdowns…also had offers from New Mexico State, ULM, Troy  and UMass.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Pine Forest High School in Pensacola, Fla., where he was a dynamic return specialist and 1,000-yard rusher in grabbing All-Area honors from the Pensacola News-Journal.
