Biography

2010: Made 33 appearances as a junior for the Gamecocks, making the start in the circle 33 times, the fourth-most appearances and third-most starts in a season in school history…posted a 21-9 record for a .700 winning percentage, the 6th best in school history, while her 21 wins were the fourth-highest total in a season…tossed 21 complete games and totaled 209.1 innings in the circle, fourth most in JSU history…struck out 116 batters and finished the year with a 2.71 earned run average…in OVC play, posted a 10-1 record and a 1.95 earned run average…won 16-straight decisions to close the year and lead JSU to the OVC Tournament title before losing to Georgia Tech in the NCAA Atlanta Regional…was an All-Tournament Team selection in the OVC Tournament after posting a 3-0 record and a 3.32 ERA during the championship…was named the OVC Pitcher of the Week twice, on April 12 and on May 10…tossed an eight-inning no-hitter in a 1-0 win over Pittsburgh on March 14 after retiring the first 14 batters she faced and allowing one runner past first in the first seven frames…struck out 10 at Murray State on March 27…tossed a one-hitter to beat Eastern Kentucky on April 17.

2009:
Made 32 appearances, including 22 starts in the circle for the Gamecocks as a sophomore…posted an 18-8 record and a 1.72 earned run average that was third-best in the OVC to earn second-team All-OVC accolades…was fourth in the league instrikeouts with 135, while walking just 48 batters…held opposing hitters to an OVC-best 174 batting average…in conference play, was 9-2 with a 0.82 ERA, thanks to 10 complete games and five shutouts in 11 starts…OVC hitters mustered just a .139 average against her in 68 innings in the circle…was named the OVC Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 9 after tossing eight innings of one-run softball in the USA Tournament…struck out 12 Memphis batters to open the season in a 5-1 win…allowed fewer than five hits in all but five appearances…tossed the Gamecocks to a 2-1 win over Tennessee in the finale of the Knoxville Regional after a complete-game win over Nebraska earlier in the day…fanned five Nebraska and four UT batters on the day and allowed just one earned run over a total of 12.1 innings in the regional…won a string of nine consecutive decisions from March 21 to April 26.

2008: Saw action in 40 games as a true freshman for the Gamecocks, earning the starting nod 24 times…posted a 16-5 record and a 2.42 ERA to earn First Team All-OVC honors and OVC Freshman of the Year Accolades…tossed 179 innings in the circle, holding opponents to a .239 average, .209 in league play…pitched 13 complete games, three shutouts, all in league games…struck out 127 batters and walked 50…led the OVC and ranked 10th in the nation with five saves…went 3-0 with a 1.75 ERA in the Gamecocks’ three OVC Tournament games to earn All-Tournament honors…in OVC play, had a 1.70 ERA and an 8-2 record…was named the OVC Pitcher of the Week on April 28 after posting a 2-0 record that included allowing just one run in 15.1 innings and a five-inning no-hitter against Austin Peay…tossed a season-high eight innings against Belmont on Feb. 29…fanned a season-high seven batters twice (vs. EKU on April 5 and vs. Morehead State on April 12)…earned the win in both victories over Florida State in the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity softball for head coach Nick Solovieff at Vallejo High School in Vallejo, Calif…was the 2007 SAC-Joaquin Section Most Valuable Player as a senior, while earning her team’s Most Valuable Player award as a sophomore and junior…was an all-region selection as a senior…was named the area’s Player of the Year for her efforts in her senior season and was a nominee for the Female Athlete of the Year Award in 2007.

PERSONAL: Born on July 13, 1989…the daughter of Eric and Kim Eliasson…has one sister, Jasmine…is majoring in exercise science and wellness at JSU.
