PRIOR TO JSU: Spent his sophomore season at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama after starting his collegiate career at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida…coached by Doug Martin at NFSC…played in 50 games as a sophomore for head coach Randy Putman at WSCC…helped the Lions to a 47-10-1 overall mark and a 28-4 mark in the conference…hit .338 in 2018 with 64 total hits, ranking eighth in the Alabama Community College Conference…finished with 26 RBI and scored 38 times…collected 21 extra bases hits, including 17 doubles…posted a slugging percentage of .558…played in 34 games at NFSC and finished with a .253 clip at the plate…collected 22 hits and recorded 14 RBI and crossed the plate 19 times…turned in a fielding percentage of .972 with two errors in 72 chances.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Smiths Station High School and tutored by Mike Ferry at SSHS…earned All-State Second Team honors at the shortstop position by the Alabama Sports Writers Association as a senior in 2016…helped the Panthers to the AHSAA Class 7A State Championship in 2015…was named the most valuable player of the championship series against Thompson…went 5-for-7 with five RBI in the two-game sweep…tabbed All-Area as a shortstop in 2016.
