Prior To Jax State: Joined the program after three years in Columbia, South Carolina as a member of the South Carolina program…did not see action in 2022 and 2024 with the Gamecocks…made 12 appearances on the mound for the Gamecocks, striking out 16 batters in 12 innings pitched as a freshman in 2021…had five strikeouts in two innings of relief, allowing two hits and a run in a win over Gardner-Webb (3/30)… made his Carolina debut on Feb. 19 against Dayton, pitching a scoreless frame.
High School: Attended East Paulding High School in Dallas, Ga., where he was 5-0 with 60 strikeouts and only eight hits allowed his senior season (2020)… All-State (2018, ’19, ’20)… All-Region (2017, ’18, ’19, ’20)… had 16 strikeouts in six innings pitched his senior season vs. South Paulding, tying Zach Wheeler for the school record for strikeouts in a game…played for the USA Baseball 17U National Team Development Program…No. 165 on Baseball America’s Top 500 Players for the 2020 MLB Draft…No. 49-ranked high school prospect for the 2020 MLB Draft by Athlon Sports…was the top-ranked left-handed pitcher and 10th-ranked player in the state of Georgia for the class of 2020 by Perfect Game.
