JSU CAREER:
2016: Appeared in one game in the circle for the Gamecocks…tossed 1.0 innings and complied a 0-0 record with a 0.00 ERA.

2015: Appeared in two games in the circle for the Gamecocks…tossed 2.0 innings and compiled a 0-0 record with a 7.00 ERA…appeared in one OVC game and went 1.0 inning.

2014: Made two appearances in the circle for the Gamecocks as a true freshman…started one game and worked one in relief, posting a 2.80 ERA in five innings of work…made her debut in the circle against Mississippi Valley State on Feb. 8…worked two shutout innings at Alabama A&M on Feb. 18 and threw to former high school teammate and catcher Jamie McGuire in that game.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Glencoe HS under head coach Amy Barker Travis…was named first team all-state in 2008 and 2010 while earning second team honors in 2009 and 2013…was named all-area MVP in 2008 and 2010…helped the Yellow Jackets win area championships in 2010, 2011 and 2012…finished her senior season with a 22-9 record while posting a 1.30 ERA with 236 strikeouts.
 
PERSONAL: Born on September 26, 1994, in Jacksonville, Ala…the daughter of Chris Sims and Shannon Yates…has young brother, Colton…is majoring in dietetics at JSU.
