Biography
2015-16: Played in 22 of the 28 games and started the final six games of the non-conference portion of the schedule…missed the start of Ohio Valley Conference with an injury and returned to action against Belmont (1/20)…averaged 4.8 points per game and over 2.0 assists per contest…led the Gamecocks in scoring versus Purdue, establishing a new career high with 16 points in 26 minutes of action off the bench…she was 6-of-7 from the field, including a pair of three point baskets against the Big 10 opponent…dished out a season-best seven assists against Tuskegee (12/13) along with posting eight points in the contest…turned in her second double figure scoring contest of the season with 12 points at Wofford (11/28).
2014-15: Saw action in all 29 games as a sophomore, including three starts...started the final two games of the season against Morehead State (2/28) and versus Belmont in the opening round of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament...had a career day in her start in Morehead, Ky. with a career-high 10 points and a season-best seven assists to guide JSU to an 83-78 win in the regular season finale...connected on 4-of-9 from the field, including a pair of three-point baskets in her season-high 33 minutes of action...ranked second on the team in assists with 61 on the season and averaged 2.1 assists per game...pulled down a season-high five rebounds at Tennessee State (1/31)...credited with two steals against Jackson State (12/5) and a block versus Mercer (12/29)...earned 2014-15 OVC Medal of Honor status after turning in a 4.0 grade point average for the academic year and was named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2013-14: Earned the starting point guard position from day one…started all 32 games as a freshman…scored a career-high eight points in back-to-back games against Kennesaw State (11/20) and at New Orleans (11/23)…pulled down six rebounds at Auburn (11/13)…led JSU in assists with 107 on the season and averaged 3.3 per game…credited with a career-high eight assists versus Lipscomb (12/14)…had seven assists in the Gamecocks’ opening round of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament against SIU Edwardsville (3/5).
High School: Prepped at Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove Village, Ill. … played for coaches Kathie Swanson and Ryan Kirkorsky at EGHS…a two-time All-Area recipient in 2010-11 and 2011-12…helped lead the Grenadiers to 63 wins over her four-year span at EGHS, finishing with 19 wins during 2012-13…averaged 10 points per game and dished out six assists and credited with four steals per contest…registered five double-figure games as a junior, including a 21-point effort against Glenbrook North High School…named the Most Valuable Player at the EGHS Thanksgiving Tournament in 2010-11 and 2011-12…also played varsity soccer and ran for the EGHS Cross Country program…scored seven goals and eight assists on the pitch…also is active on the AAU circuit, playing for the Illinois Hustle…member of the National Honor Society and the Benjamin Franklin Honor Society.
