Prior to Jax State: Played two seasons at Shelton State Community College under head coach Madonna Thompson…helped the Lady Bucs to a 31-5 record in 2024-25 and an NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship Runner-Up…Hobdy also helped Shelton State win the 2023-24 Alabama Community College Conference Championship in the 2023-24 season…as a freshman, she averaged 8.9 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game, and a 6.1 assists per game…in her sophomore year, she averaged 11.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.8 assists…Hobdy is Shelton State’s all-time assist leader with 389 in two years…had a triple double-double of 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 16 assists against Coastal South (2/12/24)…two-time ACCC Player of the Week (11/1/24 & 3/3/25)…2025 ACCC 1^st Team All-Conference…2025 ACCC All-Tournament Team…recorded 38 double-figure scoring games…had nine double-figure rebound and assist games.

Prepped at Charles Henderson High School in Troy, Al., under coach Dyneshia Jones…led Charles Henderson to the 2020 AHSAA Class 5A State Championship…2021 ASWA Second-Team All-State Selection…2022 ASWA Second-Team All-State Selection…2023 ASWA First-Team All-State Selection…played for the Trojans from 8^th-12^th grades…also earned area MVP honors in 2022 and 2023…named Team MVP in 2023…was a part of a 29-0 season with Charles Henderson as a freshman.

Daughter of La’Terra Townsy and Eric Hobdy…has two brothers Tristian (17) and Kamyre (23)…goes by her nickname, KK...chose Jax State over offers from Austin Peay and FIU…favorite snack are cheddar Pringles…favorite movie is Moana 2…favorite athletes include Stephen Curry and A’ja Wilson…one thing she says liked to do but hasn’t yet is sky dive…will be majoring in Sports Management at Jax State.
