2012-13: The only player to start all 28 games for the Gamecocks in his junior season and has now started the last 71 games for JSU…averaged 13.1 points and led the team and was fifth in the OVC with 4.3 assists per game…grabbed 2.4 rebounds per contest and swiped 1.6 steals per game to rank eighth in the OVC in that category…shot 36 percent from behind the arc and over 40 percent from the floor…scored in double figures 21 times, including a pair of games with 20 or more points…scored 24 at Presbyterian on Dec. 15 and 22 at Tennessee tech on Feb. 9…used the 3-point shot in both of those performances, making six treys at PC and five at TTU…averaged 35.7 points per game for the Gamecocks, second-most in the OVC, and was fourth in the league with a 1.8 assist/turnover ratio…scored 14.8 points per game and averaged 4.9 assists in OVC play…dished a season-high nine assists against Martin Methodist on Dec. 11 and had eight assists twice…distributed five assists or more in 13 games…grabbed a season-high four steals vs. Eastern Kentucky on Jan. 19.
2011-12: Started all 33 games for the Gamecocks as a sophomore, the only player to start every game for JSU…played an average of35.4 minutes per game, which was second-most in the OVC…led the Gamecocks and ranked 12th in the OVC in scoring with 13.2 points per game…scored 13.6 points per contest in league play, 14th-best in the OVC…averaged 3.1 assist per game, sixth in the OVC, to spark a 1.7 assist to turnover ratio, which was second-best in the league…averaged 1.7 3-point field goals per game, second-best in the conference, while ranking in the top 10 in the OVC in steals per game with 1.4…scored in double figures 25 times, including three games with 20 or more points…scored a season-high 21 points twice, at Tulane on Dec. 11 and vs. USC Upstate on Jan. 30…scored 20 points against Presbyterian on Feb. 18…connected on three or more 3-pointers in a game 10 times, including three games with four treys…dished a season-high eight assists vs. Eastern Kentucky on Dec. 17…had six assists in a game three times…had at least one assist in all but one game…scored in double figures in 12-straight games before having that streak snapped in the quarterfinals of the OVC Tournament vs. Morehead State.
2010-11: One of just four players to appear in all 30 games for the Gamecocks and the only true freshman to do so…earned the starting nod 10 times, the final 10 games of the season…averaged 4.6 pointsand 1.5 assists per game while also grabbing 1.2 boards per contest…committed just 36 turnovers primarily playing at the point guard position…got his career off to a fast start by scoring 11 points and pulling down three rebounds in his debut vs. West Alabama in the Nov. 13 season opener, a night that saw him go 5-for-8 from the floor…scored in double figures six times, including a season-high 19 points against league champion Morehead State on Feb. 3…was 7-for-12 from the floor against the Eagles, including a 3-for-3 showing from behind the 3-point line…scored 16 points and dished a season-high five assists at Murray State on Feb. 12.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a three-year starter for head coach David Allen at Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville, Ga…was a first team all-region performer as a junior and senior after earning second team honors as a sophomore…was named to the Senior all-Star Team after averaging 16 points and seven rebounds per game, numbers that also earned him top player honors in the county and region…earned MVP honors at the Jefferson Tip Off Tournament in Atlanta.
