Scott Hill

Scott Hill begins his third season with the Jacksonville State soccer program, working specifically with the Gamecocks’ goalkeepers.

He helped Neil Macdonald navigate through the COVOD-19 pandemic with the 2020 season pushed the the spring of 2021. He also helped the Gamecocks secure a postseason bid to the 2021 ASUn Tournament in the program's first season back in the league.

Hill brings extensive experience to JSU, working for many club programs across the country, having stops in 23 states.  His most recent stop was with Challenger Sports, one of the largest coaching companies in soccer.  He performed soccer camps across the nation over the last seven years.  Hill has spent time with the Alabama Rush, out of Gadsden, Alabama.  The Rush won three Alabama State Cups in four seasons.

The Walsall, England native is a JFO award winner as an instructor and holds a FA level 1 and FA level 2 accreditation.  Hills also has secured his USSF D license.  He has run individual high school camps in Delaware and Pennsylvania. 

Soccer has been instilled in Hill since an early age and loved to play the stopper position.  He played youth soccer for Walsall School for Boys and then moved on to play with the Birmingham (England) FC.  Hill also spent time playing for Bloxwhich AFC and AFC Old Wufrunians.  He currently plays with the Alabama Heat FC in north Alabama.
