Biography
2016: Played in all 19 games and started in 16 of this contests…ranked second on the club in total shots with 35, including 16 against Ohio Valley Conference foes…recorded a pair of goals as a junior against Georgia Southern (8/21) and versus Belmont (10/21)…collected assists against SIU Edwardsville I(10/2/) and UT Martin (10/9)…tallied a career high six total shots in the Georgia Southern match…also had three shot attempts in a pair of league matches with Tennessee Tech (9/23) and Eastern Illinois (9/30).
2015: Saw action in 15 games as a sophomore, including playing time in six Ohio Valley Conference matches…completed the season with eight shots, including four in a league match at Eastern Illinois (10/4)…had three shots on goal…claimed a pair of top-10 finishes in the 100 and 200 meter events at the 2016 OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships…placed fifth in the 100 event and sixth in the 200 meters…was named the OVC Track and Field Female Track Athlete of the week after winning the 100 meter dash at the Gamecock Quad Meet with a career-best time of 11.96…he returned to the track later in the day for the women's 200 meter run and posted the fastest time by crossing the finish line in 24.45.
2014: A quick threat off the JSU bench in 2014, seeing time in 19 matches and started against Mississippi Valley State (8/31) and at Ball State (9/20)…turned in a stellar first career start against MVSU with two goals and a pair of assists in the 15-0 win…finished the contest with six points…added two more assists in another Mississippi program the following weekend against Jackson State (9/5)…tallied her third goal of her rookie year in the start at Ball State…added two more assists at Austin Peay (10/17)…finished the season with six assists and 12 total points…collected nine shots on the season, with seven coming on-goal…logged over 500 minutes on the pitch, including a season-high 68 minutes versus Ball State…a two-sport athlete at JSU as a member of the Gamecock Track and Field squad…competed in the 100 meter run and the 200 meter event during the spring…clocked a season-best time of 12.40 in the 100 meter run at the Georgia Spec Towns Invitational…turned in a mark of 25.08 in the 200 event of the Memphis Invitational.
Pre JSU: A talented two-sport athlete on the high school level and will be a dual student-athlete as well, competing in track and field for the Gamecocks…coached by Montgomery Hinton and Chris Hedglin at NWRHS…played varsity soccer since the 7th grade and was the NWRHS Most Valuable Offensive Player five seasons and was named caption of the 2013 Cougars’ squad…recently earned 2014 All-State North Team honors after helping NWRHS to a spot in the 6A State Playoffs…named the Metro Athlete of the Week once during the 2013 season and a multiple selection as a top performer by the Jackson Clarion-Ledger…guided NWRHS to 61 wins in four seasons, including a 19-5 mark as a senior…posted 29 goals combined in 2013 and 2014 and nearly 100 goals in her six seasons with the Cougars…after an impressive resume on the pitch, her track accolades equal those in soccer…she was named the Most Outstanding Sprinter three times (2011-14)…holds the school record in the 100 meter, 200 meter and 400 meter events along with being a member of the record-holding relay teams in the 4x100 and 4x200…won the 6A District 100 meter and 200 meters in back-to-back season (2012, 2013)…participated on the club level with the Mississippi Fire…paced the Fire to four state titles and the 2012 National Runner-Up (U16).
