2024: Played and started 12 games...Led team with 110 total tackles...Earned First-Team All-Conference USA honors...Racked up 10 tackles for loss with three sacks, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery...Five games with 10+ tackles...Made season-high 19 tackles in season debut at Eastern Michigan (9/14)...Had nine total tackles with a sack and a forced fumble in win at Kennesaw State (10/4)...Had 14 tackles with 2.5 for loss, a sack, and a forced fumble in overtime win at LA Tech (11/9)...Had 11 total tackles in win over FIU (11/16)...Made 11 stops in regular season finale at Western Kentucky (11/30)...Had 13 tackles with a fumble recovery in StaffDNA Cure Bowl against Ohio (12/20).
2023: Appeared in every game for the Gamecocks as a sophomore, starting at safety in 11 of those … third on the Gamecocks in total tackles with 75 and led the team with 49 solo stops … added five tackles for a loss and a team-high seven quarterback hurries … had one interception and five pass break-ups … third among all CUSA players and tied for 15th nationally with three fumbles forced … in Jax State’s OT win at Sam Houston, recorded 14 tackles – 12 solo, forced two fumbles and had two QB hurries … had another double-digit tackle game with 10 against Liberty … in the Western Kentucky game, had five stops, an interception that he returned 18 yards and two hurries.
2022: Was among 31 players listed to the Freshman All-America squad. Perry made an immediate impact for the Gamecock defense in 2022, leading the team with 72 total tackles to go along with an interception and fumble recovery. He was selected as the ASUN Freshman of the Week in early October after an 11-tackle game against Kennesaw State helped JSU limit the Owls to just 283 total yards and only 44 yards through the air.
HIGH SCHOOL: Rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports…played for head coach Jordan Singletary at Warner Robins High School in Warner robins, Ga…a two-way player that was a first team all-state selection as an athlete by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution…also an all-region performer that led WRHS to the 2020 and the 2021 GHSA Class AAAAA State Championship…as a senior, racked up 111 tackles, 88 solo, nine tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles and two interceptions…on offense, had 108 carries for 1,208 yards and 22 touchdowns…rushed for over 100 yards four times in 2021…had multiple offers, including Kennesaw State, Western Carolina and Gardner-Webb.
