2009: Saw action in all 35 matches and all 137 sets on the Gamecocks’ front row as a junior…led the team with 79 blocks, while ranking second on the squad with a .253 attack percentage…was fourth on the team in kills with 309, an average of 2.26 per set…put down a season-high 15 kills at Eastern Illinois on Oct. 10, a match that also saw her pick up seven digs…tallied 11 kills on just 15 attacks against Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 17 for a .667 attack percentage…blocked a season-high six attacks at UT Martin on Oct. 23.

2008: Appeared in all 29 matches and all 107 games for the Gamecocks as a sophomore…led the team in total blocks with 57, blocks per game with 0.53 and block assists with 44…was third on the squad with 161 kills, an average of 1.5 per game…had 19 service aces and 70 digs on the year…recorded a season-high 12 kills against Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 31…also has 10 kills against Auburn on Sept. 2…recorded four blocks in a match three times…picked up a season-high nine digs at Eastern Illinois on Nov. 7.

2007: Appeared in 46 games and 22 matches for the Gamecocks as a true freshman…made her collegiate debut an impressive one on Aug. 25 against Missouri, a match that saw her record 14 kills on a .357 attack percentage…she finished the season with 50 kills after serving as one of the Gamecocks’ top weapons off of the bench…knocked down eight assists on Sept. 15 at Murray State and had five on Oct. 9 at Austin Peay.

Prep: Played six seasons for head coach Karen Warnock at Liberty High School in Colorado Springs, Colo…amassed 212 kills, 50 aces and 82 blocks as a senior for the Lancers en route to garnering first team all-area and First Team Colorado Springs All-Metro honors…was featured in the Rocky Mountain News’ “Best of the Best” in each her junior and senior seasons…totaled 211 blocks, 111 service aces and 479 kills in her career…was a club volleyball all-star and was named to the Rocky Mountain Region High Performance Team in 2005…played one season for each the Pikes Peak Volleyball Club, while playing two seasons for the Stellar Volleyball Club in between.

Personal: Born on Oct. 12, 1988, in Grand Forks, N.D…the daughter of Kristin and Mike Slater…has one younger sister, Kelsey…plans to major in elementary education at JSU.
