2014: Played in 16 matches, starting six during her junior season…became one of the Gamecocks more trusted options off the bench appearing in 33 sets…in limited time, recorded 12 blocks, 11 kills and six digs…tied a season-high with two kills and a 1,000 attack percentage in the season finale against Tennessee Tech in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.

2013: Saw action in 10 matches and was on the floor in 14 sets as a true freshman for the Gamecocks…boasted a .350 attack percentage, the highest on the team, on 20 attacks…had 10 kills on the year to go along with seven blocks.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played five seasons for head coach Jaclyn Litwiller at Morris Community High School…named MVP of the Wilmington Tournament…named second-team all-area as a senior…helped lead the Redskins to a region championship as a junior…also lettered in basketball and softball…named MVP of the basketball team as a junior…was also named all-conference and all-area in basketball…named all-conference and all-area in softball as well.
 
PERSONAL: Born on September 29, 1994, in Morris, Ill.…the daughter of Terry and Kristen Torkelson…has two older brothers, Ty and Kjeld Torkelson and one younger sister, Taya…her brother Kjeld played baseball at Kankakee Community College…majoring in exercise science at JSU.
