Chandler Smith joined the football support staff as Director of Player Personnel and pro liaison in January of 2025, handling recruiting, roster management, and scholarship allocation.
Prior to Jax State, Smith worked as a team operations assistant with the Las Vegas Raiders where he handled team logistics as well as setting up and breaking down the team's training camp in Costa Mesa, California.
After graduating from Alabama, Smith was the scouting coordinator at Arkansas State, helping the Red Wolves score the best recruiting class in the Sun Belt in the class of 2024.
At Alabama where he earned a Bachelors in Kinesiology and a Masters in Sports Hospitality Management, he worked as a student equipment manager and as a recruiting specialist with an emphasis on quarterbacks and defensive backs.
