RICHMOND, Ky. – For the third time in the first five Ohio Valley Conference series of the season, the Jacksonville State Softball team's first day has been rained out. The Gamecocks' doubleheader at Eastern Kentucky has been cancelled because of rain, and the two will play a doubleheader at 12 p.m. CT on Saturday.

The Gamecocks (24-9, 9-1 OVC) have now lost seven games that were on their schedule and will have their series with the Colonels (14-17, 5-6 OVC) shortened to two games. Live stats for Saturday's twinbill will be available at www.jsugamecocksports.com.
