WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Scott Underwood went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs as Jacksonville State claimed a 5-2 win over Bradley in the third game of the Russ Matt Central Florida games on Wednesday.

Bradley Raulston (2-0) scattered four hits over five innings to earn his second win of the year, while Todd Hornsby struck out two of the final three batters to earn his fifth save of the year. Bradley's Joe Bircher (2-2) gave up all five runs and allowed eight hits to suffer the loss for the Braves.

Underwood followed with a RBI single through the right side to score Bluestein as the Gamecocks took a 2-1 lead.

Bradley tied the game at 2-2 in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Jerrod Eigsti, but Jax State answered in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Bluestein and Erik Underwood reached on back-to-back walks, before Scott Underwood followed with a RBI single down the right field line to give the Gamecocks a 3-2 lead.

Jacksonville State dropped an 8-5 decision to Navy earlier in the day as the Midshipmen had 13 hits off of three JSU pitchers.

Taylor Cato gave up only four hits in 5 1/3 innings to earn the win for Navy, while Daniel Watts (0-2) allowed nine hits and five runs in four innings to suffer the loss for the Gamecocks.

Navy took a 2-0 lead in the first, but JSU answered with three runs in the fourth inning after Bluestein drove in a pair of runs and Christo Sullivan walked with bases loaded to give JSU a 3-2 lead.

The Midshipmen answered in the fourth to take the lead for good on a RBI double by Jeff Bland and a RBI single by Dave Milanes as Navy took a 4-3 lead. Navy added a run in the fifth and three more in the eighth, before the Gamecocks scored two in the top of the ninth inning for the final margin.
