PEORIA, Ill. – The Jacksonville State men's basketball team wraps up its three-game road trip at Peoria's Carver Arena Wednesday night with a 7 p.m. matchup at Bradley University.
Â
The matchup between the Gamecocks and Braves is set to broadcast on ESPN+, and is the second game of the Cancun Challenge's U.S. Regional bracket. JSU is looking to pick up its first win of the Cancun Challenge after dropping a tough 76-61 loss Monday at Penn State in the first game of the tournament.
Â
Jacksonville State (0-2) saw improvement from its first game of the season to its second with its Monday matchup at Bryce Jordan Center. The Gamecocks out-rebounded the Nittany Lions 37-35 and kept the home team's second-half advantage to just four points until the 10-minute mark.

Senior
Jason Burnell is coming off one of the best games of his career, scoring 14 points and pulling down 12 rebounds at Penn State. The 6-foot-7 forward's double-double was the third of his career and JSU's first of the season.

Bradley (2-0) comes into the game having won back-to-back home dates against UW-Parkside and Southeast Missouri. The Braves routed the Rangers 74-58 last Wednesday and topped the OVC's Redhawks 68-57 Saturday at Carver Arena.
