- Wednesday's contest against Delaware State is the fourth meeting between the two programs. Jacksonville State topped the Hornets 81-54 on Dec. 8, 2018 in Dover, Del. This is the second visit to Pete Mathews Coliseum for DSU.
- Â Jacksonville State snapped a four-game losing streak Monday with an 85-59 home win over Evansville. It ended the longest winless drought for the Gamecocks since the 2015-16 season.
- Â Head coach Ray Harper became the fastest Gamecock coach to reach 70 Division I wins in the victory over Evansville. Harper achieved the feat in just 114 games. It was career-win No. 501 for the fourth-year JSU coach.
- Â Through 10 games, JSU has hit 81 3-pointers. The Gamecocks hit 200 3-pointers last season in 33 games. Jacksonville State ranks 114th in the NCAA and fourth in the OVC for 3-pt. field goals per game after ranking 312th in the NCAA and 12th in the OVC last year.
