JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to non-conference foe Troy on Tuesday at the JSU Tennis Courts.

After dropping the first set,
Sergio Lizarraga and
Aljaz Kaplja got the Gamecocks back on track with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles to for a third set for the point. Despite a tough battle against Troy's (16-4, 1-3 Sun Belt) Manuel Bernard and Jiaqi Duan at No. 2,
Guillermo Agost and Jordi Blancher fell 7-6.
Â
Up 1-0, the Trojans took the first two singles sets to extend their lead to 3-0. Blanchar earned his team-leading 10th win of the season with a two-set win to give JSU its first point of the afternoon, but a win at No. 2 for Troy's Oskar Michalek over
