Jacksonville – The Jacksonville State University beach volleyball team fell to 0-12 on the season after a pair of losses in a Tri-Match at UNA on Wednesday.
 
To begin the day, JSU fell to UT Martin to the squads' second meeting of the year, 5-0. The Gamecocks followed the loss with a 5-0 defeat to UNA to move to 0-2 in the ASUN.
 
In the UT Martin match JSU's Peyton Pauze and Taylor Thomas held an early lead after winning the first set 21-7 but fell in the second flight 2-1 (21-7, 21-18, 15-8). Thomas and Pauze's lead was the only lead of the day for the Gamecocks throughout all ten games.
 
JSU returns to action in the EKU tournament on Apr. 1 and Apr. 2 against UNA, Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois and Eastern Kentucky.
